Alberto Riccardi Joins Imolese

Alberto Riccardi has signed with Imolese in Italy’s Serie D, Girone D. The 2006-born left winger from San Marino came through the San Marino Academy before joining La Fiorita, where he gained valuable experience in the national league and played in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. Riccardi has also represented San Marino from the U16s up to the senior national team, earning three caps. Known for his pace, shooting, and crossing, he now joins Imolese with a strong drive to grow and contribute.

Riccardi said about his move:
“I am a left winger who can also play as a left-back. My main qualities are speed, shooting, and crossing. When I played at San Marino Academy, I had the chance to play here against Imolese. I chose this club because it has great visibility and a strong belief in young players. We are all young and eager to prove ourselves. We are going full throttle, and I’m very happy to be here. I met the coach after a match with the national team, we talked a bit, and he seemed a great coach and a wonderful person.”

About his experience with the San Marino national team, he added:
“It’s an experience hard to describe. I played against incredible players like Dzeko and Arnautovic; it was something extraordinary. Staying in the national team setup is certainly one of my goals.”
