Gabriel Capicchioni Signs with Tropical Coriano
Gabriel Capicchioni has signed with Tropical Coriano in Italy’s Serie D, joining the club after his recent experience with Virtus in the Campionato Sammarinese, where he also scored in yesterday’s 3–1 win in the Coppa Titano quarterfinal second leg. Born in San Marino in 2006 and holding dual San Marino–Colombia nationality, he developed through the youth systems of San Marino Academy and Rimini before moving to Virtus. Capicchioni has represented his country across all youth levels, scoring his first international goal with San Marino U21 and making his senior national team debut on June 10, 2025, against Austria in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. “I arrive in Coriano with great enthusiasm and the desire to give everything for the coach and my teammates. I want to help the team with work, availability and goals, making the most of my physicality, shooting and running,” he said. Interperformances thanks Virtus for the valuable experience provided to the player, including cup competition, and wishes him success in this new chapter with Tropical Coriano.
