David Brkic best Italian player of LegaDue

6'11” Small Forward / Power Forward David Brkic has been named best player of the Italian LegaDue for the 21° round among the Italian players. David had a great game against Forlì, where he helped Prima Veroli to clinch the victory 88-98 with 20 points and 7 rebounds. He also collected 2 assists and 2 steals, for a final valuation index of 30.
Brkic was born in 1982 in Yugoslavia, but moved in 1990 to Cesena with his parents. Last season David joined Snaidero Udine, a team that has been demoted from the Italian first league. Udine succesfully believed in David's potential, having seen his potential when, in 2007-08 he played a key role in the promotion of Caserta in Serie A. Later, this season, David signed a 2-year contract with Prima Veroli where he's averaging 14.1 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
