Tezenis Verona (Italian Serie A2) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old Italian ex-international power forward David Brkic fromBondi Ferrara. In 30 Serie A2 games he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 7.2rpg and 1.9apg last season.The previous (14-15) season he played at Napoli Basket (A2 Gold) where in 19 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 15.7ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1bpg.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Brkic played in the final of Italian Lega Due in 2013. He was also voted Eurobasket.com Italian Lega2 All-Domestic Players Team back in 2006, 2010 and 2013.He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Brkic was a member of Italian international program for some years. He was called to Italian Senior National Team between 2001 and 2004 and previously for U20 National Team between 2020 and 2002.Brkic has played also professionally in Austria and Spain (Cantabria) and Italy (Juvecaserta, Pavia, UBC, Imola and Brescia).
