Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari reinforced its frontcourt by signing Italian national team center Marco Cusin. The big man arrives from Cantu, for whom he averaged 3.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in 12 Eurocup games last season and was among the competition's leaders with 1.8 blocks per game. Cusin played in the Euroleague the season before that, also with Cantu. He has played his entire professional career in Italy. Cusin started his career with Trieste and has since suited up for Biella, Carife Ferrare, Fabriano Basket, Juvi Cremona, Scavolini Pesaro and Cantu.  He has been also a member of Italian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Italian senior team since 2004 and previously for U20 National Team between 2003 and 2005. Cusin was among the EuroBasket 2015 qualifying rounds' leaders in blocks with 2.8 per game this past summer.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Italian Supercup in 2013. Cusin was also voted Eurobasket.com Italian SerieA All-Domestic Players Team in 2012.
