Pioneros de Quintana Roo-Cancun are the new LNBP champions. They outgunned Soles de Mexicali in the decisive seventh game of the championship series to conquer the title. The game was mostly controlled by Pioneros. Soles managed to win fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Soles 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass.
Worth to mention a great performance of the American power forward Justin Keenan who collected  17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Romel Beck, who added 7 points and 3 assists
